City DD was founded to solve a real problem. Local businesses in the Lower Mainland needed a reliable, professional same-day courier that actually showed up on time, communicated clearly, and treated their deliveries with the care they deserved. Too many businesses had been let down by national carriers that treat the Lower Mainland as a secondary market — slow to respond, inconsistent on delivery windows, and indifferent to the local business relationships that depend on timely service.

We started small — one driver, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to doing the basics better than everyone else. Show up when we say we will. Deliver what we're given with care. That commitment to the basics turned into a growing fleet, a growing client roster, and a reputation in Langley, Surrey, Vancouver, and across the Lower Mainland for being the courier that actually delivers — in every sense of the word.

Every City DD driver operates an electric or hybrid vehicle. This isn't a marketing campaign — it's how we've operated from day one, and it's a commitment we're extending indefinitely. We believe in serving our community without harming it. Diesel fumes near a pharmacy or medical clinic are unacceptable. A diesel van idling in front of a florist shop doesn't reflect the brand of the florist we're delivering for.

Our EV and hybrid fleet also gives us a cost advantage that we pass on to clients. Lower fuel costs mean we don't need to inflate delivery prices to cover a diesel fleet's operating expenses. Same-day delivery starts at $12, and that price reflects actual distance — not a markup to cover inefficient infrastructure.
